Cleaning, Reminiscing and Planning
I think that for my blogs I'm going to try and start it off with a quote, whether its related to the blog or not. Quotes are fun :D.
Quote: "Life is what happens when you're busy making other plans." John Lennon, Beautiful Boy.
I was supposed to blog yesterday but of course I forgot before I went to bed. Anyways, yesterday was my niece's first birthday and also the anniversary of my brother and his fiance's car accident. All are healthy and thriving now :D. The fact the these to events took place within hours of each other made me stop and look at my life a year ago, and now, it still makes me ponder it. I think it will be a yearly reminder of what something wonderful person I got, and that I could have lost two people I dearly love. In all honesty, my family was very lucky. I really can not believe that a year has go by so fast already. I'm the kind of person who wants the future to come faster than it can. I enjoy the present, but I know I should live a bit more healthier, happier, and fuller. I find myself planning for things way to much. A little planning isn't bad, but sometimes pondering the future gets in the way of what I should be doing in the present. And that's what I plan to do in 2009 (and in years to come). I'm going to stop planning so much (which is really hard for me), and try to live in the moment once in a while (which to me also means don't stress about the future). That also reminds me of another quote, but I'll probably use that one later. :D
Today I spent most of my day cleaning out my closet. With the exception of mounds of dust, I enjoyed doing it. I'm an in the closet clutter freak. On a scale of organization that puts Monica from Friends at a 10 I would put me at a 5. However, we have our secret closet of messiness. It's very hard to get rid of something that holds a strong attachment to a period of my life (as young as it may be). I found so many different random things I couldn't even begin to list them yet here are a few: unopened classic Barbies, old report cards (which where quiet good :D), art class project from middle school of a clay sculpture of a pass pet, and an massive amount of Backstreet Boy/Spice Girls memorabilia. I threw most of this in the trash with the exception of my school projects, report cards, and some BSB (Backstreet Boys) stuff that my mom said she'd put away in a box in the garage with the "collector" Barbies she won't let me throw out. Yes, I can't get rid of all the BSB stuff. I have so much of it! And they are still a very good group although I don't listen to them anymore.
I know have plans to go to Ikea (the best store ever) early next week with a friend to go shopping for shelves, cute boxes and probably a clothes organizers to help redo my closet. I plan on doing the whole upper half as a book shelf/area. I've needed more room to put my endless stacks of books so I'm hopping this will free up some the room on my desk (and on top of it, under it, and to the sides of it). Really, I have to many books. Maybe I'll post before and after pictures of the random places I have books.
Speaking of books, my next blog will probably be about some books and series of books that I've gotten into lately so it won't be as boring as me cleaning my room. And I apologize for the rambling. Maybe next week I'll have more of a point, or something more interesting to say.

Happy New Year!
New Years Resolutions
1) Have a more balanced lifestyle. So that means go to the gym regularly. Not only when school and work ceases and allows me too.
2) Try not to stress myself out so much (hence the balanced lifestyle being helpful to that).
3) Do a whole write through of the story I'm working on right now. I've been writing bits and pieces of a story now but I haven't written it from beginning to end. I've just being writing random scenes that comes to my head. I have a loose plot for it but know that when I write it will become very full and clear.
4) Create a blog and update it often. Obviously, I've created just created it.
5)Work on my grammar skills and spelling, and make an effort to edit. It's not that I don't like editing, I'm just lazy.

New blogger mistakes already
I made my blogspot page earlier today and didn't realize that I spelt "Rambler" as "Ramber." Yes, mistakes already. In my "About Me" on the that blogspot I warned my horrible grammer skills, but I forgot mention my horrible spelling as well. And, may lack of patience for editing. This should be fun. So, I've made a new blog and I am going to repost my first post from the first blogspot. Lost yet? :P
